…Your Adventure in Nepal Awaits!

If you want to deepen into the heart-and-soul of your spiritual practice, be awed, humbled, awakened, inspired, and renewed, this experience is for you. Aside from absorbing all of the beautiful sights, we create space for satsang - coming together in spiritual community - through yoga philosophy, mantra, asana, and more in our daily practices, that are both structured and allow for you to have your own time to discover and explore.

While this is an escape from your regular world, this isn’t simply a vacation:

This trip is a pilgrimage.

We walk, upholding the sacred wisdom from the depths of our hearts, finding compassion and love for all beings on this planet.

This journey has the potential to catalyze a soul-and-spirit level of change and healing, if you invite and allow it.

The paths we tread have been worn in by ancient yogis paying homage in deep devotion. The places we visit hold powerful energy and their stories are written in ancient texts. Whether you join for the trek, the spiritual tour, or both, you will emerge from this retreat on the other side of whatever lesson or obstacle you most need to integrate into your life.

Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu ~ May all beings be happy and free ~

Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu ~ May all beings be happy and free ~

Nepal is the birthplace of Buddha - and in this journey we have the opportunity to visit his homesite - Lumbini - attuning our frequencies alongside hundreds of monks devoting their lives to Spirit. Nepal is like no other place in the world, with its access to both the Himalayas and the jungle, maintaining cultural integrity in ancient villages that are built in stone, and with a resonance of spirituality that can be felt everywhere.

A journey to Nepal in October offers a chance for clear skies that open up to jaw-dropping mountain views. We’ve also planned this trip to coincide with and celebrate Diwali, the magical festival of lights, which welcomes the changing season as we approach the dark winter months.

You have multiple options to join our immersive experience, depending on whether you desire a more physical and/or a more inward experience. You can also join in on both, for a mindblowing immersion you’ll never forget.

For the adventurous trekker:
October 15-21, 2025: Lower Everest Himalayan Trekking Pilgrimage

  • Explore a part of the Everest region that is still off the beaten path, avoiding crowds, finding solitude, and experiencing a unique pilgrimage route in the area

  • Take a mountain flight over the immense Himalayas to the remote village of Salleri, taking in views of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and the entire Everest Region

  • Travel on foot over several days to holy Dudhkunda lake, situated at 4700m. This lake was once home to ShivaParvati ~ the union of Shiva with his beloved wife, Parvati

  • Dudhkunda lake is said to be a wish-fulfilling lake; pilgrims often make the journey with an intention in mind - whether for healing, finding love or having a fulfilling partnership, or inviting success and expansion in one’s career. After a wish is fulfilled, many even return to the lake in a pilgrimage of gratitude.

  • Situated at the foot of the sacred mountain Numbur, a holy mountain of the Everest region, this region is known for its array of medicinal plants, some of which are endemic and only exist in this region

  • Learn and participate in rituals that deeply connect you with nature and source energy

  • Meditate in powerful Himalayan energetic centers

  • Replenish your body with yoga asana practice with a backdrop of the world’s largest mountains

  • Hike to breathtaking sunrise and sunset viewpoints over Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga

  • Visit one of the first Sherpa settlements in Nepal

  • Stay in a monastery, interact with and learn from Tibetan monks, and integrate teachings of Tibetan Buddhism into your life and practice

Most of the accommodations for this trek are simple teahouses, and there may include one night of camping.
This is real, off-the-beaten path Nepal. The max group size for this trip is 6, and minimum group size is 2.

For the spiritual Seeker:
October 21-28, 2025: Jungle Retreat and Spiritual Tour

  • Ground down in lighthearted and joyful Nepali culture while visiting and staying in a sacred yogic village in the mystical jungle of Nepal

  • Experience the energy of where the Buddha was born, in Lumbini, where devout monks from all over the globe live, side by side

  • Explore temples, mystic sites, and monasteries, with historical and yogic symbolism interpreted by our amazing and experienced Brahmin yogi guide, Kavee

  • Engage in activities that bring you close to the nature of the jungle

  • Learn about native and Ayurvedic medicinal plants of the lowlands

  • Observe jungle animals, including tigers, rhinos, crocodiles, multiple species of deer, and many species of birds

  • Float in a canoe at the confluence of the great rivers of the western region of Nepal: rivers that carry water from headwaters high in the Himalayas down to the lowlands. These river confluences are considered by the yogis to be energetically charged

About your guides

Kave Sharma is an experienced yoga teacher & a mountain guide who has been leading transformative pilgrimage journeys in the Himalayas for 10 years. Since his family background is in the Brahmin lineage of Hindu priests, he grew up steeped in Vedic tradition that he intuitively shares, and has a deep knowledge of Sanatana dharma, Hinduism & Buddhism.

Kave speaks wonderful English (and is proficient in several other languages), and shares traditional yoga and yogic philosophy in a way that is natural and accessible, and that brings sincerity, lovingkindness, humor and lightheartedness to any conversation.

Natalie Pyrooz guides integrated yoga and nature-based experiences, focusing on cultivating connection and belonging, inner peace, and self-love.

When the world locked down in 2020, she was in a village in the Himalayas; at this time she decided she was ready to help others connect more deeply with nature through intentional journeys that integrate somatics and spirituality.

She brings together sound, movement, breathwork, mantra, tratak, philosophy, Ayurveda, and guided meditation.

  • We will meet you wherever you are: whether you an experienced yogi with an established practice, or have minimal knowledge of yoga but a genuine curiosity and sincere heart.

We ask all who join to arrive with a beginner's mind, absorbing teachings from the land, from the villagers, and from your guides.

  • For the trekking portion of the trip, you will need to be comfortable walking up to 5-6 hours, several days of the trip, and carrying perhaps 20lbs. There will be significant elevation gains and losses, but we have time to take it slowly.

For the spiritual tour, we will have private transportation, and walk (no large packs) for up to 2-3 hours on some days.

All yoga is modifiable and will be tailored to meet the needs of the group.

  • We suggest you do and that is what will be offered and included. And, the food is delicious: fresh, hearty meals, with plenty of protein and a whole spectrum of nutrients. We will be mostly consuming sattvic foods, so that we clean our vessel (our bodies) as we walk the pilgrimage. We seek to purify our body along with our mind, so that we elevate our entire being: mind-body-spirit.

  • Nepal is a developing country, and the world indeed is a crazy place (especially right now).

There is a whole section of the contract that goes into detail, but the short of it is that if we have to cancel on our end, you'll be offered several options and we do what we can to offer the best alternative possible. And, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect you from any mishaps in any part of your journey.
