Our earth is the greatest mother, teacher, and healer.
Every woman has a mother.
Every woman has thought about motherhood.
Motherhood can bring up so many emotions, so much tender and raw vulnerability, as well as our deepest strengths and purest love.
We’ll gather to uplift, honor, and give thanks to all mothers. This is a space where we can let down our guard and be present. We will share stories that help us to connect as women and remember the great interconnectedness of all the varied paths we walk. We will allow our steps on nearby trails in mother nature to heal and guide us. We will take rest. We will receive. We will celebrate. We will hold space so that raw emotion can move, flow, process, and release. We will grieve where we are hurting or holding pain that is connected to motherhood. We will find deeper connection with the greatest mother, Mother Earth, through guided practices that remind you of her power, grace, and awe.
Mount Shasta is considered by many to be a spiritual energetic vortex. When you take time to quiet the mind and get still, its impossible not to feel it’s power. Some even say it is the root chakra of the world - what better place to connect with Shakti - or divine feminine energy?
Encompassing land that spans many tribes’ historical territories, including the Shasta, Wintu, Achumawi, Atsugewi and Modoc tribes, the native peoples consider this the home of the creator. Sacred springs and waters emerge from the mountain, and to this day spiritual ceremonies are held at significant sites here.
Designed as an all-inclusive experience, you are invited to join us for clean, nourishing, Ayurvedic-inspired vegetarian meals catered by an in-house chef, go on guided nature excursions and to local energetic centers, and relax in a beautiful and serene home with amenities that include a hot tub (with views of Shasta under a waxing/almost-full moon), an infrared sauna, an acoustically enhanced sound healing room, several beautiful gathering spaces, and so much more.
What to expect:
Offerings will include all-levels yoga, sound healing, guided meditations, guided hikes, journaling and sharing circles that explore Mother and Nature, free time, optional massage, and more.
